Tree Committee

Purpose
The Tree Committee was created by the Holladay City Council to:
  • Encourage the planting, maintenance and preservation of the City's tree canopy for the benefit of City residents.
  • Encourage and administer programs, as directed by the City Council from time to time, regarding the City's inventory of trees.
  • Provide recommendations for the planting of different species of trees on City property.
Appointed Tree Committee Members
The Tree Committee is made up of residents who are appointed by the City Manager with the advice and consent of the City Council for a term of three (3) years. All members of the Committee must live within the City of Holladay. Everyone that is interested in applying to serve as a member is strongly encouraged to attend an upcoming meeting to get to know the group and their good work.
